DTV Visa Cooking Program – Program Structure

Our program offers an immersive and authentic Thai culinary and cultural experience. Students can choose between two program lengths:

 

1. Thai Culinary Workshops are held monthly, with multiple session options available each month, with both weekday and weekend scheduling. Students may select one session per month based on availability.

📌 Session timing options generally include Morning (11:00 to 13:00) and Afternoon (15:00–17:00), subject to availability.

​Month of February: Mastering Thai Stir-Fry Techniques
Learn essential wok skills and stir-fry techniques to prepare flavorful dishes like Pad Kra Pow and more.

​Month of March: Green & Red Thai Curries
Unravel the secrets of crafting green and red curry pastes and blending them into vibrant, flavorful dishes.

​Month of April: Yellow & Massaman Curries
Delve into the creamy, aromatic world of yellow and Massaman curries, perfecting their unique flavor profiles.

​Month of May: Thai Desserts & Festive Treats
Explore the sweeter side of Thai cuisine by preparing traditional desserts and festive delicacies.

​Month of June: Regional Thai Specialties
Embark on a culinary journey across Thailand, exploring signature dishes from various regions.

​Month of July: Thai Seafood Delicacies
Master cooking with seafood to create fresh, flavorful dishes showcasing Thailand’s coastal influences.

​Month of August: Vegetarian Thai Cuisine
Learn to prepare wholesome, plant-based dishes while preserving the bold and authentic Thai flavors.

​Month of September: Thai Snacks & Appetizers
Create a variety of traditional Thai starters, perfect for sharing and entertaining.

​Month of October: Advanced Thai Techniques
Refine your skills with advanced techniques, focusing on presentation and complex flavor combinations.

​Month of November: Thai Dips & Accompaniments
Explore the world of Thai dips, sauces, and accompaniments, including Nam Prik and other flavorful condiments.

​Month of December: End-of-Year Specialties
Celebrate the festive season by preparing Thai dishes perfect for holiday gatherings and special occasions.​

2. Market Tour & Signature Thai Dish Classes

These sessions are available throughout the month with both weekday and weekend scheduling. Students may select their preferred session(s) after enrollment, based on available slots.

 

Each session includes:

  • Tuk-tuk ride to Prannok Market

  • Guided ingredient exploration, local snack tastings, and market orientation

  • Hands-on cooking of four iconic Thai dishes (AM and PM menus differ)

 

Typical session times:

  • Morning: 09:00 – 12:30

  • Afternoon: 14:00 – 17:30

 

📌 Note: This course structure is a sample outline. Final class dates and formats may vary month to month based on scheduling needs, class size, and availability. Students will receive a booking form after visa approval to select their preferred sessions. This approach allows us to maintain small class sizes and ensure the quality of cultural instruction.
